This is a 10* TOTAL BK on the OVER Royals/Angels. Two hard-hitting teams collide here on Thursday night, which doesn't bode well for these two suspect starters. KC hands the ball to Michael Wacha (1-4, 5.50 ERA), who was shelled for seven runs off nine hits over three innings in a loss to the Rangers most recently. LA counters with Ross Detmers (3-3, 4.24), who was rocked for seven runs with four walks over five innings in a loss to the Guardians. It can't get much worse for these two guys. Or can it?! This is an 8* BLOOD-BATH on the Hurricanes. The Rangers are 6-0 in the playoffs. They were underdogs at home in the first two games of this series, and they're once again a dog here. Despite the loss last time out, note that Carolina is still 8-4 in its last ten in trying to avenge a road loss as fav. vs an opponent. Carolina lost 4-3 in double OT in Game 2. It's the biggest game of the year for the home side and I feel that it could/should in fact be a much larger fav in this spot. Lay the price with confidence, the play is CAROLINA. Good luck, NP |

This is a 10* BOB on the Mavericks. The Mavericks looked competitive in the first half in Game 1, but then they fatigued in the second half and weren't able to keep pace with the Thunder. But with Game 1 now out of the way, I'm expecting a much more competitive affair here in Game 2. Dallas has performed well in this spot for bettors though, going 7-3 ATS in its last ten in trying to avenge a SU/ATS road loss vs. an opponent. OKC is so far perfect in the postseason, but that streak is going to end shortly. It may not end tonight, but in a contest that I see being decided by whichever team has its hands on the ball last, I'm grabbing the points. The play is DALLAS. Good luck, NP |
